Preparation
- Rinse your shrimp under cool water and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Once the butter is bubbly, toss in the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute, stirring frequently.
Cooking
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
- Drizzle the lemon juice over the shrimp and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.
Serving
- Remove from heat and sprinkle chopped parsley on top before serving.
Notes
Don’t overcook the shrimp to keep them juicy. For extra flavor, add a splash of white wine after cooking the shrimp and let it reduce. Serve over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread.
