Method

Cooking the Pasta
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the farfalle pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente, about 10-12 minutes.
  2. Reserve a cup of the pasta water before draining.
Making the Beef Mixture
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes.
  2. Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for a minute until fragrant.
Creating the Sauce
  1. Reduce the heat to low and add the heavy cream. Stir gently until combined.
  2. Gradually stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  3. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of the reserved pasta water.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combining Everything
  1. Add the cooked farfalle to the skillet and toss everything to combine.
  2. Serve and sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

If sauce seems lumpy, stir well; lumps are bits of beef and garlic. You can add vegetables like spinach or peas for more nutrition.
