Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 1 pound large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (optional)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in lemon juice, salt, pepper, and paprika. Reserve some for basting.
  3. Toss shrimp in a bowl with the garlic butter mixture until coated. Let soak for about 15 minutes if you have time.
Cooking
  1. Place shrimp on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Avoid walking away!
  2. Baste shrimp with reserved garlic butter while cooking.
Serving
  1. Remove shrimp from the grill and plate them. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Keep an eye on shrimp to avoid overcooking. Optional: add chili flakes for a spicy twist or swap parsley with cilantro.
