Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder if using.
- Pour in the melted butter and milk. Stir until well combined.
- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently for about 1 minute.
- Roll the dough into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick and cut it into strips around 1-inch wide.
- Place the strips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, brush the tops with extra melted butter, and sprinkle with dried herbs if using.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden and fluffy.

- Let them cool for a minute and serve with your favorite dip or alongside a hearty soup.
Notes
For cheesy bread sticks, try adding shredded mozzarella to the dough before cutting. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days or freeze for longer storage.
