Ingredients
  

Cracker Ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour Whole-wheat can be used for a fiber boost.
  • 1/2 cup chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup flax seeds Ground is best!
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder For flavor.
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup water Add more if needed.
Optional Flavor Boost
  • herbs or spices Consider rosemary or cumin.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, chia seeds, flax seeds, salt, and garlic powder. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Add the olive oil and water to the bowl. Mix until a dough forms, adding more water if needed.
  4. On a floured surface, roll out the dough to about 1/8-inch thick.
  5. Cut the rolled-out dough into squares or any shape you prefer.
  6. Place the cut crackers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Baking
  1. Bake the crackers in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, turning them halfway through for even cooking.
  2. Once they are golden brown, remove from the oven and let them cool.
  3. Enjoy your crunchy snacks!

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to a week. Feel free to experiment with different spices for added flavor.
