Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In another large bowl, beat together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract; mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
Baking
- Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 9-11 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week. You can also freeze the dough for later use.
