Method
Preparation
- Trim any excess fat from the steak and cut it into bite-sized pieces—about 1-inch cubes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss the steak pieces in this garlic mixture to coat them evenly.
- Let them marinate for about 15 minutes while you prepare the potatoes.
Potato Preparation
- Peel (or leave the skin on) and dice the potatoes into similar-sized pieces for even cooking.
- In a bowl, toss the diced potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
Cooking
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Once hot, add the seasoned potatoes in a single layer and air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking them halfway through.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add a bit of olive oil and cook the marinated steak bites in batches for about 3-4 minutes each until browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
Serving
- Once both the steak bites and air-fried potatoes are ready, plate them together and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
- Enjoy your meal!
Notes
Marinate the steak ahead of time for easier preparation. Cold steak bites make a great addition to salads or sandwiches for leftovers. Don’t overcrowd the air fryer for best results.
