Ingredients

For the Garlic Steak Bites
  • 1 pound steak (sirloin or flank steak)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
For the Air Fryer Potatoes
  • 2 medium-sized potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary or your favorite herb
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

Preparation
  1. Trim any excess fat from the steak and cut it into bite-sized pieces—about 1-inch cubes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss the steak pieces in this garlic mixture to coat them evenly.
  3. Let them marinate for about 15 minutes while you prepare the potatoes.
Potato Preparation
  1. Peel (or leave the skin on) and dice the potatoes into similar-sized pieces for even cooking.
  2. In a bowl, toss the diced potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Once hot, add the seasoned potatoes in a single layer and air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking them halfway through.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add a bit of olive oil and cook the marinated steak bites in batches for about 3-4 minutes each until browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
Serving
  1. Once both the steak bites and air-fried potatoes are ready, plate them together and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
  2. Enjoy your meal!

Notes

Marinate the steak ahead of time for easier preparation. Cold steak bites make a great addition to salads or sandwiches for leftovers. Don’t overcrowd the air fryer for best results.
