- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Toss until the apples are well-coated.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface and cut them into squares, about 4 inches on each side.
- Place a generous spoonful of the apple mixture into the center of each square. Fold the pastry over to create a triangle or rectangle and crimp the edges with a fork to seal.
Baking
- Place the Apple Slippers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let them cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar.
